We are pleased to invite you to our Rhodesian Ridgeback Days 2023, taking place on the 26th-27th of August 2023 at the Søften Culture and Sports Centre, Hinnerup. Both days will be under the expert guidance of our experienced judges – Timmy U. Ralfe from South Africa for the Specialty Show and Lindsey Barnes from England for the Certificate Show.

Saturday, August 26, 2023

Our judge for Saturday’s Rhodesian Ridgeback Club’s Specialty Show is Timmy U. Ralfe from South Africa.

We will be awarding the following certificates:

  • Junior Certificate (Jr CAC)
  • Club Junior Certificate (Club Jr CAC)
  • Certificate (CAC)
  • Club Certificate (Club CAC)
  • Veteran Certificate (VCAC)
  • Club Veteran Certificate (Club VCAC)

We will be hosting competitions in the following categories:

  • Best Movements
  • Best Head
  • Best Ridge
  • Best Child & Dog
  • Best Junior Handler

We will also be celebrating the exterior of the year and the utility dog of the year.

The evening will conclude with a celebratory dinner.

The schedule can easily be delayed, so please arrive in plenty of time for the day’s judgments:

  • 09.00 – Exhibitors can enter
  • 10.00 – Welcome
  • 10.15 – The exhibition starts with babies and puppies, followed by males.
  • 12.00 – Lunch
  • 12.30 – Females, breeding & lineage classes, Best Veteran and BIR/BIM
  • 15.30 – Best head, best movements, best ridge.
  • 16.30 – Collective clean-up after the exhibition.
  • 17.30 – Trophy presentation for the dogs of the year (indoors in the hall).
  • 18.30 – Dinner and talk by Timmy U.Ralfe about the breed standard

Our judge for Sunday’s Certificate Show is Lindsey Barnes from England.

We will be awarding the following certificates:

  • 08.30 – Exhibitors can enter
  • 09.00 – The exhibition starts with babies and puppies, followed by males.
  • 12.00 – Lunch
  • 12.30 – Females, breeding & lineage classes, Best Veteran and BIR/BIM
  • 16.30 – Collective clean-up after the exhibition.

Participant information

Participant information and number plates will be sent to the exhibitors before the show at the email address used for online registration.

All baby and puppy classes will start first, followed by males, and finally females.

The exhibition will take place outdoors, and there is an option to purchase lunch at the Søften Culture and Sports Centre cafeteria.
